Deco Marquetry Picture - stylised trees and lake, a varied selection of
different wood veneers have been used. Although the quality isn't brilliant (up
close), it
is a nice piece, I believe it was made by a local cabinet maker during the
1930s. The condition is very good, just one little bit of veneer is slightly
lifting (the dark piece, half way up on the left). The picture has recently been
professionally framed in flat walnut in keeping with the original style. Price £55 plus delivery.
